Where E. galls sore,
I don't think so.
     And now,
     for something completely different...

Ice like blue,
or p'raps
Blue like ice.
Ice like ice
Icy

Every word
were it for naught.
Hot in my ear,
Cold on my tongue.

Corkscrewing,
the wringing.
Hairy twists
Falling,
Knotting,
Poking,
Teasing.

Soar grounded,
Grounded sores.
Impulse taut,
Learned control...

Still,
Ice like blue,
Blue like ice.
Drips my thought.

Author's Comments

I posted this in my journal/blog originally. But, I am liking it more and more as I read it over and over. Partly because it likely makes no sense to anybody but me, and partly because it makes perfect sense, once you see how it's read.

I don't know. I'm posting it properly either way though. Did a couple minor edits as well.

Mhh, I like this a lot, and I cannot even pinpoint why. A feeling, a notion, an understanding, yet none of that and more. Well written, Trent.
